Status – Sick and Rest Week

Just a quick update to my status. I was planning on doing Chilly Hilly today, but spent the day sick on the couch. I’m okay with that though because this is supposed to be a rest week. While training, it’s important to remember to give your body some time to recover and rest. If you go all the time, you just wear your body out. You have to make sure your body has time to build up to what you’re doing to it.

So, back to the regular schedule next week, as I’m feeling better tonight and plan to make it to my swim class tomorrow. Only 3.5 months to go till my first Triathlon!
